For the first time ever been there and was pleasantly surprised. Nice service, good food. And for the first time in my life drank Latvian beer. By the way, it does not taste that bad. And discovered entirely new flavors through the new dishes. Absolutely try it!

We came here because of good reviews. My schnitzel was really good but everything else in this restaurant is not right. We had to wait over 1 hour, although only 4 people were on site. In addition, the host wanted to give us no space outside, because this is only for several people, although in the whole restaurant only 4 guests were. Good food but poor service which makes you feel no better.

Wonderful host and amazing food. My two children and I stopped in on a whim and were blown away by the courtesy of the host and the quality of the food. For the three of us it was 50 euros and well worth it.

Lord, what a breathtakingly delicious food here! Solyanka with salmon and pickles, mutton dumplings, dumplings with potatoes and wild berries, pancakes with a real Soviet ice cream! Wah! Plus two beers. They gave almost 60 euros for everything. Friendly, fun, great! Thank you, Alexander!

Great food and nice atmosphere. Host is authentic and welcoming. Favorite beer on tap and the fish soup is delicious. Touch on the pricy side, but worth the investment. Perfect place to finish a walk from the Taunus.

Hello my dears, I can only recommend this guest house. Food top, prices top, service PERFECT. The atmosphere is very familiar :-). I felt like I was at home. Am thrilled.

Classical german restaurant, but do not come a group of 14 people. Then expect to spend a whole evening and a bit more to have a meal. But a waiter with humor and tasty food.

It was a great experience! Food was excellent, ambience was excellent, our host (owner) was awesome. Excellent hospitality. Tried dark beer - schlappeseppel . Have never experienced a dark beer with such a smooth taste and came to know it's 300 years old. We loved everything about this place. Must try this lovely place!

Perfect evening and delicious eaten the grapes were tasty very good host.

6-21-18 The host was very gracious and kind! He brought out a few cool puzzles for our kids and the food was really authentic. I am American with German parents and always search for very good sauerkraut, bratkartoffeln etc etc and here I was in heaven. Home made mustard and nicely made food for tHe kids (not cheap, not frozen). It really was a great quiet authentic and lovely spot to be! Host was always checking on us and I would love to be a regular here.

The food is good. Unfortunately this restaurant STILL doesn't accept credit cards. We will not be going back.
